This De Wieken tradition is by far the most popular amongst the children in the club! Each year on the 5th of December Sinterklaas, (St. Nicholas) visits Dutch children and leaves them presents. Each year Sinterklaas makes a special trip to North Carolina to honor De Wieken with a visit and hand deliver his presents to the local Dutch children.
